Unreal battery life. Used for two days straight in the lakes. Without charge. Only down side is the built in mic faces forward and is a wind trap. As you can see fro. The video. However. An external mice placed inside the helmet may help the wind noise
Bought this for the battery life to use kayaking...picture is great, stabilization is great, battery life is AMAZING...but the audio; there's a "rushing" noise, like rapids in a river, or something like that, backgrounding every recording. Maybe with the external mic it goes away.
I recommend putting it on top of the helmet. Program for a picture every 30 seconds and that works just great. Else video. It works well with the phone app. Light. Easy to install. Great camera for motorcycling, Hiking,Rafting and any of hard gaming.
The amount of times people have pulled out on me is ridiculous. With camera I can show my insurance company that a accident is of no fault of mine. Works brilliant day or night and as can be seen from the footage it's crystal clear. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This helmet cam came with two mounts, which I stuck one on my motorcycle helmet and the other on my bike/scooter helmet, so I can clip the cam on either helmet. Pretty happy with img and vid quality but got no goPro or others to compare with.
Really impressed by this Drift camera. I wanted something inconspicuous to mount on my motorcycle helmet, and the Ghost XL fits the bill. The matt black finish and sleek profile mean that I don't know it's there, and it's not too obvious to everyone else.
